Jonathan Harris CBE FRICS

In 2002 Jonathan was appointed CBE for services to surveying, having been Millennium President (2000/01) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Since 2005 he has been a member of the Counsellors of Real Estate, USA (awarded the White Landau Merit Prize in 2009). As Governor of the University of Westminster he was awarded an honorary doctorate (DLitt Hon). In 1981 he founded an Educational Charity Trust, and he is also Founder of the Continuing Professional Development Foundation, now renamed the Harris Foundation for Lifelong Learning.

He continues to demonstrate his commitment to education: in 2000 he established the Institute of Continuing Professional Development. His contribution to further education was recognised in 1993 when he was appointed OBE.
