Baroness Shackleton

Fiona Shackleton qualified as a Solicitor in 1980 and was made a Partner in Breecher & Co in 1981.

By 1986 she had become a Partner at Farrer and Co and in the same year co-founded the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She joined Payne Hicks Beach in 2001 as a Partner, and remains Solicitor for The Prince of Wales and The Duke of Sussex.

In the 2006 New Year Honours List she was made a Lieutenant of the Royal Victorian Order, in July 2010 she was made an Honorary Doctorate of Exeter University and in December 2010 made a Life Peer.
